The aim of this study was to evaluate antioxidant activity, collagensynthesis, and stability of bright and firm hybrid emulsion I.
The stability was evaluated by pH test, heating andcooling test, and microbial growth test. The antioxidant activity was evaluated by2,2′-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method, 2,2-Azino-bis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) method, and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) method.Histological analysis was stained with Masson’s trichrome and evaluated for collagensynthesis on days 28.
Bright and firm hybrid emulsion I had antioxidant activity and was stableunder room temperature. Histological analysis was performed on day 28. Bright and firmhybrid emulsion I increased collagen synthesis when compared with the control group.
This study demonstrated that bright and firm hybrid emulsion I hasantioxidant effect, increases collagen synthesis and stabilizes under room temperature.
